I was so bad with updating the blog 'lately', yeah like 1,5 years that it blows my mind! BUT, it wasn't only my laziness, it was also cuz DJ pinktrol was busy busy and on the run!

Now I will try to put some stuff that was happening for the last several months, so you'd better stay tuned!

Umeå is coming up...

and DJ pinktrol is going up north to drop some happy beats! In a few days on Friday 27th September I'm bringing it to Norrlandsoperan!

DJ Pinktrol är ständigt på språng! Med sin blandning av hiphop, RnB, dancehall och electro har hon fått folk att skaka rumpa på pridefestivaler och queerklubbar i Sverige, Norge och på Färöarna. Till vardags driver hon klubben The Spot i Stockholm, som riktar sig till kvinnor och transpersoner. Passa på när hon gästar Umeå Pride och Norrlandsoperan!

EuroPride 2008

EuroPride was crazy and hectic full of parties and fun!

Queer AllStars party was mind blowing and sold out! Here you can see 5 stars behind the success :) 5 stars from 3 clubs - Combustion, TheSpot and Wotever.

As usually there was also a parade and one of the floats had DJ pinktrol playing. We had some much fun even though the rain didn't wanna stop pouring down on us...Umbrella and I'm Only Happy When It Rains made our day ;) just kidding...

Next two parties I play at will be hopefully not that wet... :)

Three queer clubs come together for a party during this years’ EuroPride!

For the second time in a row the biggest and best queer clubs gathered and are organizing SUPER PARTY! A year ago the club filled in with people just after we opened the door so this year we have a bigger and better venue and we also sell tickets in advance so that there will be no queuing! This years’ theme is: Trashy Funk, Sexy Starlets, Hedwig Freaks, Fabulous Kings and Super Queens! More Make Up!

GOD-DES AND SHE [NYC–USA]
We’ve seen those two for the first time with their ”Lick It” song in the 3^rd session of L Word, during stag party of Shane. Since then the super duo is constantly on the run touring in USA. They showed up for a show in Sweden in March 2008 and kicked ass! God-Des is the best knows lesbian rapper and She is a singer with truly amazing voice! Those two are a shashing mixture. A few weeks ago they released their album “STAD UP”.

Josephine Wilson and friends. Queer Femme Power in figure of Josephine is coming Straight from The Genderqueer Playhouse! She has performed around Europe with the Club Wotever and in the autumn we’ll see her in Suzanne Osten’s play “Glada Änkan” in the Folkoperan, in Stockholm. Expect to be enchanted by this proud trans woman.
